Hi! I’m Emily. I build WordPress websites and create the content your audience is searching for.

I started designing and hand-coding static websites for our family-owned service business around 2000. I dabbled with my first WordPress site around 2009, and I’ve been hooked (pun totally intended!!) ever since. To go from using HTML and CSS in a text editor to a “real website” right out of the box was a game-changer.

I began developing custom themes, writing content and showcasing past jobs to convey our message to potential clients.

I began expanding a search engine optimization skill set that includes quality-guideline-friendly on-page and off-page techniques. I continue to grow and update these skills to keep up with the ever-changing SEO landscape and stay on top of the latest content strategies and tools.

Learning and growing

There’s always something new to learn about web development, and I’m currently working on expanding my design and theming skills, as always. I’m also delving into PHP and JavaScript.
